We wanted to introduce to the Egyptian market the concept of providing a single, one contact shipping agency hub for all worldwide ports, to facilitate the required service activities that our clients might require, in order to achieve efficiency in terms of communication, security, safety, cost and time, whilst giving our business partners more room to focus on their internal business activities, investments and support their efforts to enhance and grow their businesses and market share
With that concept, Proxima Egypt started in 2017 as Next Maritime Egypt acting as a fully integrated ship agency. In 2019 Logistics and Customs Clearance were introduced to our business portfolio to expand our service channel. In 2023 Next Maritime Egypt was rebranded as Proxima Egypt with a comprehensive range of activities after introducing more services with 5 branches covering the major commercial ports in Egypt
